Philosophy
Philosophy is the search for truth. Philosophers seek to understand the world and our place in it and explore human questions with a critical and constructive methodology. Mercyhurst College offers both major and minor programs in philosophy , both of which challenge students to develop critical thinking and rhetorical skills, and tackle multifaceted problems in logic, ethics, language, law and more. Because the principles of philosophy affect many other fields of study, including science and religion, this program will prepare you for graduate study and professional work in a number of different fields.
