Charlene M. Tanner Speaker Series
The Charlene M. Tanner Speaker Series is devoted to promoting social justice, peace, and the environment. Sponsored by the Mercyhurst College Philosophy Department and funded by Doris Cipolla in Tanner’s memory, it is hoped that its events will inspire others to help create a healing environment for the world. Other speakers hosted by the series include Vandana Shiva, Derrick Jensen, Winona LaDuke.
